lila Williams' singing abilities come from an early desire and
dedication. She has studied with some of the finest vocal teachers in  the country as
her ability to sing over very complicated jazz changes shows. Either Swing, Latin,
Jazz or Blues, lila's scat improvisation has the essence of Ella (Fitzgerald) and Sarah
(Vaughn). She solos over Ballads with the Smoothness of a flute and does Swing
with a driving sax-like quality.

lila currently performs at various clubs and venues in the NYC, Dallas and
San Francisco Bay metropolitan areas.

Also a composer and a guitarist she fills all the jobs of a well rounded musician.

A fine treat to hear in a techno pop & rap era. Check out
